SAIC Senior Program Manager in DORAL, Florida
Description
SAIC is actively looking for a Sr. Program Manager with an active TS/SCI Eligibility with an extensive background in program leadership to join our dedicated team, in service of the U.S. Southern Command's Cyber IT Enterprise Services (SCITES). The successful candidate will have a history of being the Program Point of Contact (POC) and demonstrated knowledge of management Department of Defense (DoD) type contracts.
The selected candidate is expected to provide leadership, management, and oversight for the program and workforce to deliver exceptional service in support of the DoD. The best candidate for this work will be creative and driven to success with demonstrated experience. The chosen candidate will have a passion for delivering high performance, under budget and continuously raising the moral of the team.
Responsibilities:
Overall management of tasks performed under contract, to include all programmatic and operational requirements identified as part of the scope of work.
Act as the primary point-of-contact for contractual issues and customer relations.
Ensure practical and effective systems are in place to meet requirements under this contract, including development and submission of CDRLs, financial controls, and schedule.
Overseeing quality, cost, and schedule. Keep SAIC Executive Leadership and respective Group Vice President apprised on program review.
Oversee customer-facing portal to ensure up-to-date information is included and necessary improvements are made to meet customer and contract needs.
Serve as Customer single point of contact for all, technical, administrative, leadership, quality, and contractual aspects of the effort.
Build and maintain working relationships with high level DoD stakeholders, worldwide team members, and corporate partners.
Provide program oversight and leadership for the consolidation of several disparate large projects that support coalition operations and planning.
Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation to achieve cost savings and program efficiencies across contract boundaries.
Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to the contract leads, program team leads and individual performers on their team.
Manage the staffing, management, quality, and performance on the contract.
Support on contract growth, as appropriate, in close coordination with Business Development.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree IT/Systems Management or Business or related field.
Minimum fifteen (15) years in support of IT Program(s).
Minimum of five (5) years of Program Management experience directly related to a DoD management activities.
Required Skills and Certifications:
Must have PMP Certification as accredited (Project Management Institute (PMI) (validation required).
Must have ITIL Foundation 4 Certification (validation required).
T/S SCI eligibility clearance is required.
Demonstrated project and/or contract management skills to successfully manage a high-performing team providing system engineering and technical services across geographically dispersed project locations.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability and willingness to initiate and manage relationships across the organizations and manage relationships across the customer leadership team.
Experience managing large ($100M+) enterprise IT programs.
Desired Qualifications:
FEDSIM knowledge preferred.
In-depth understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) IT infrastructures and environments.
Experience managing IT programs supporting USSOUTHCOM or other DoD Combatant Commands.
