角色职责:

• Translate marketing, customer and industry standards requirements into product design. Define and provide different embedded firmware alternatives for specified requirements in order to select the best solution.

• Design, implement and maintain Fire Alarm Sensors and Devices from specification through production. Emphasis is on embedded firmware design, project completion, engineering documentation, and product agency certification.

角色 目的:

• The Firmware design Engineer will utilize strong design skills and will operate within multidisciplinary teams to develop and introduce new product designs. In this role you will design, implement and maintain Fire Alarm Sensors and Devices from design to production.

最低要求:

• Electronics/Communication/Computer science/or related with bachelor degree or above.

• Good level of English, both spoken and written.

• 4 or more years detail design experience in embedded software.

• At least 1 year of experience in multi-national companies.

• Hand-on experience on embedded system firmware and software development.

• Proficiency in C language, knowledge of basic data structure and algorithms.

• Familiar with ARM, MIPS embedded CPU.

• Debug experience is desired, such as ICE, Logical Analyzer and Oscilloscope.

• Knowledge and experience with many different processors, as well as HW peripherals (e.g. PWM, ADC, DAC, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).

• Ability to understand electronics hardware schematic.

• Knowledge on Matlab/Octave/other software to do data analyze is a plus.

• Experience with Fire Products/Market, Sensor Engineering, Audio / Lighting Engineering, Wireless, and Fire Alarm Panels and Systems, is a plus.

• Knowledge of worldwide Fire product regulatory standards such as CCCF/UL864/UL268/217/521/EN54, etc, with testing and regulatory agency certification experience, is a plus.

• Experience in embedded software design, specifically in: RTOS tailoring, device driver development and middleware integration, HAL and OSAL design.

• Used to work with standard Software Quality Assurance tools (i.e. Doors, Subversion, Mercury QC, etc.) and processes (i.e. Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Code Review, etc.).

• Experience in evaluating synchronous and digital clock products and systems.

• High capability and creativity for analysis and problem solving

• Highly self-motivated lead engineer with a results oriented, and proven track record

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong team player, action oriented, highly motivated self-starter

• Bring a positive, can-do attitude to the work place each day

• Sense of commitment and urgency
