SCALE TECHNICIAN
Job Summary: Testing, repairing and installation of instrumentation and automation of industrial weighing equipment.
Read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
Installation of scales, wiring and devices on and in mixers, trucks, and tractors.
Perform minor and major programming of electronic scales.
Examine products and work to verify conformance to specifications and maintain consistent productions quality.
Prepare and gather equipment for shipping to customers and other company locations.
Trouble shoot, repair and maintain electronic scales and components in company shop and customer sites.
Proper use and care of hand and power tools and make minor repairs.
Maintain housekeeping and cleaning in work area and other areas.
Perform routine safety inspections of equipment and notify supervisor of any problems.
Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements, follow safety procedures when lifting, pushing, or pulling material and attend all required safety training.
