U.S. Mint Finance & Systems Support Division Chief in District of Columbia, District Of Columbia

Summary This position is located in the United States Mint, Manufacturing Department, Washington, DC. This position serves as Division Chief of the Finance & Systems-Support Division. The Finance & Systems and Support Division is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and overseeing budgets, financial strategies, business processes, performance metrics, training, administrative and information systems for the Manufacturing Directorate. Responsibilities As a Finance & Systems Support Division Chief, you will: Be responsible for overall program management for the Manufacturing Directorate, with emphasis on financial planning, budget management, technology implementation, contractor administration, and optimizing business processes for enhanced efficiency. Be responsible for policy development and administration of policies, defining ongoing program requirements, and/or providing advice to top management on related issues. Provide supervisory oversight of the contract lifecycle to include acquisition planning, requirements gathering and development, Performance Work Statement/Statement of Objectives development, contract evaluation, award and administration phases, and any other activities related to contract management and administration. Lead all contractual actions that represent the business needs and requirements various areas of the Manufacturing Directorate. Perform financial management and control of the Manufacturing Directorate, including oversight of tracking and estimating annual budget requirements and all business metrics. Requirements Conditions of Employment All employees must wear face masks while on MINT property when required by CDC and Federal guidelines. A one-year probationary period may be required. A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required. Must successfully complete a background investigation. Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Implementing and maintaining budgets; AND - Gathering, evaluating, tracking, and reporting performance metrics; AND - Developing and maintaining management information systems. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
