ASRC Federal Holding Company Continuity of Operations (COOP) Project Engineer in DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, District Of Columbia

ASRC FEDERAL Broadleaf Division is seeking a COOP Project Engineer to support our customer located at the Pentagon.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Seeking an experienced Continuity of Operations (COOP) Project Engineer to join our Command and Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division (TSD) team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading multiple projects and departments, and will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with COOP projects for the US Army and on Command and Control (C2) systems is desired.

  • The COOP Project Engineer shall be proficient in war fighting reporting systems that focus on military functions, such as, equipping the force, causalities, planning, logistics, COOP, and requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and help create innovative software solutions.

Requirements :

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five (5) years of experience in a Continuity of Operations (COOP) Project environment.

  • Experience with the following:

  • Providing project leadership with enterprise technology efforts, including enterprise application projects, critical systems and COOP processes.

  • Coordinating technical aspects of work for the successful completion of a project and/or production.

  • Planning and overseeing support of a specific IT area and systems.

  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, PowerPoint presentations, and status reports based on tasks assigned by the Program Manager and required for the mission.

  • Preparing and utilizing project plans for significant IT engineering, enhancement and maintenance efforts.

  • Establishing goals and providing regular feedback to team members.

  • Acting as a liaison for technical teams to management (including government senior leaders.) to synchronize Mission Essential Functions (MEF) with Agency Division Leadership.

  • Tracking and managing mission essential personnel, training status, and logistical preparations for COOP scenarios.

  • Supporting planned exercises and unplanned events with logistical support, personal coordination, and any required load out scenarios.

  • Communicating regularly with internal and external customers.

  • Supervising staff responsibilities.

CERTIFICATION(S):

  • DoDD 8140.01/DoDI 8570.01-M IAM Level II or IAT Level III certified.

  • A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CSSIP) certification preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering/Business

CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • Top-Secret with SCI eligibility

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This role will be full-time on-site at the Pentagon
