job purpose

The Strategic Delivery Office (SDO) is a permanent structure within EMEA Global Accounts, responsible for driving continuous innovation and support large-scale complex client projects such as acquisitions or divestitures, and our clients’ strategic project roadmap.

The aim is to work across global accounts, leading strategic initiatives aimed at driving consistency of delivery, transformation and business improvement and innovation with our key global clients. The role will act as a SPMO and be responsible for identifying, prioritising and executing projects that align with both RSR’s strategic and our clients’ objectives.

Whereas our operational excellence function mainly focuses on embedding best practices and improving our operational delivery of programs, this function mainly focuses on driving client centric projects, including innovation and strategic account development, serving ultimately as an incubator for larger scale implementation of innovations across our Enterprise client portfolio.

The role holder will be responsible for a range of activities such as:

Strategic planning

• Work with the Strategic Projects Director, CSDs, EMEA Global Accounts MD and other key stakeholders to define strategic objectives and priorities for key initiatives.

Project identification and prioritisation

• Identification and evaluation of potential projects across global accounts

Project leadership and execution

• Assume ownership of key strategic projects, overseeing end-to-end from initiation to delivery. Eg:

1. Coordination of internal GTO initiatives for Global Accounts

2. Client Divestitures or Acquisitions

3. Client specific transformation/growth/innovation projects

4. Cross client initiatives

• Track all projects, their objectives, timelines and deliverables.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, ensuring alignment and support for strategic initiatives.

• Liaise with key Client customer stakeholders on alignment of priorities and roadmap

Change Management

• Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes in the global accounts portfolio, tech or org structures resulting from strategic projects.

• Partner with GTO/OpEx as required on delivery of operational improvements and best practices.

Compliance/Governance

• Establish robust governance structures and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into project performance (develop dashboards; utilise Smartsheet).

requirements for this role:

• In depth experience managing execution, business or software projects ideally associated with the procurement function or talent acquisition for large global enterprise organisations

• Proven exceptional written and oral presentation skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead across multiple business organizations, including global and enterprise-wide projects.

• Experience in a regulated environment or similar

• Certificates in Program/Project Management is desirable

• Strong knowledge and skills in MS Office

• Change Management Knowledge

• Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills

• Smartsheet proficiency is desirable
