GE Healthcare Product Service Manager in Diegem, Belgium

Job Description Summary

In this role you will lead a team of 10-12 Field Service Engineers, who are working on the X-Ray, Ultrasound, Mammography and Radiology modalities of GE Healthcare. Your main focus will be to enable the team to perform their tasks and to provide leadership in setting and achieving assigned goals in the profitable installation, maintenance and repair of GE Healthcare products and the growth of the service contract base. You will support the achievement of the operating plan, including the support to sales and productivity initiatives for your products. Additionally you will be a Customer Relationship Manager for the key customers in the Belux region.

Job Description

Essential responsibilities:

  • Accountable for positive leadership of direct reports to include ongoing direction, coaching, and career development;

  • Supports the achievement of the Operating Plans (OP), receivables, past dues;

  • Owns operational processes (PM completion, Overtime management, NCR, FE Tool utilization).

  • Leads and cultivates a culture of GE Healthcare values and integrity;

  • Develops strong customer relationships and supports “one GE Healthcare Services” for the customer;

  • Leads service delivery, which continuously meets customer expectations;

  • Promotes a safe working environment and ensures compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures;

  • Drives change initiatives as required to improve efficiencies and execute on business commitments;

  • Support other modalities to help deliver the commitment of GE Healthcare to the business and the customers;

  • Willing to travel within the Belux region as required.

R equirements / Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor degree (i.e. Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering) or substantial experience in Field Services. You know the needs of your team and how to motivate them;

  • Relevant experience in such modalities as X-Ray, Mammography, Ultrasound;

  • Strong customer-service skills with experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment in the Healthcare Industry;

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner;

  • 3-lingual language skills in Dutch, French and English;

  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
