Your day at NTT DATA

We're currently looking for a Freelance for a long term mission.

What you'll be doing

1. Scope

The role is divided equally between operational tasks and project-based work. Operational tasks include assisting with the implementation of complex requests, continuous improvement, and tightening of the cyber security posture. Project-based work involves the lifecycle management of firewalls, SSE implementation, AlgoSec lifecycles, and improvement projects, as well as SSE migration.

2. Technical Activities

Palo Alto

  • Manage the lifecycle of Palo Alto firewalls.

  • Install new firewalls.

  • Implement SSE Palo Alto Prisma.

Firewall Rules

  • Support system deployments from a network security perspective.

  • Configure networks/zones and firewall rules.

AlgoSec

  • Use Firewall Analyzer to identify shadowed, unused, and duplicate rules/objects.

  • Utilize Fireflow to create request forms.

  • Leverage AppViz to visualize applications in AlgoSec and assist with Fireflow requests.

Cisco ISE

  • Manage Wireless and Wired NAC, currently in open mode but transitioning to closed mode.

  • Perform profiling on wired and wireless networks.

  • Implement TrustSec and SXP.

Infoblox

  • Fine-tune and maintain the existing Infoblox deployment, with escalation support from CoE and FW SME.

3. Specific Focus Areas

Palo Alto

  • Provide technical recommendations and improvements.

Firewall Rules

  • Support complex firewall rule requirements.

AlgoSec

  • Use Firewall Analyzer to identify risky rules.

  • Create security matrices in AlgoSec for risk assessment using Fireflow.

Infoblox

  • Utilize Infoblox for DHCP and IP management.

  • Improve and fine-tune the existing Infoblox implementation.

Other Activities

  • Manage specific network projects.

  • Create Low-Level Design (LLD) based on High-Level Design (HDL) from architects and implement the solution.

  • Write Standard Operational Procedures (SOP).

  • Ensure activities remain local after transferring support to the CoE.

  • Act as the Business Unit (BU) for the medior profile in BAU support tasks.

4. Skills

  • Support the CoE with tasks beyond their capabilities.

  • Identify and address knowledge gaps within the CoE through coaching and additional skills.

  • Delegate new tasks to the CoE.

  • Drive new initiatives and propose improvements to existing technologies and processes.

  • Establish a continuous improvement process for the team.

5. Client Special Requirements

  • Suggest improvements to existing technologies and processes.

  • Be present on-site at least two days per week.
