Social Media Marketing Specialist II
As a part of the fast-moving Niagara Marketing and Communications team, the Social Media Marketing Specialist II is responsible for marketing the Niagara brand across social media and web channels, in partnership with external agencies, fellow team members, and cross functional partners at Niagara. This role will ensure Niagara has a clear, consistent and unique voice in the online conversation about our brand, industry and topics that matter to Niagara.
Essential Functions
Overall, the role contributes social media expertise, data and creative energy to the marketing and communications strategies for the Niagara brand and company. This role will:
Ensure Niagara brand presence on social media and web channels aligns with the Niagara Brand Guidelines
Act as key point of contact for social media content from the agency and manage social media content approvals internally
Establish a social media editorial calendar
Execute attractive and informative organic posts, including collaborations with other Niagara company channels
Establish KPIs for social media to support team goals (e.g., share of voice, consumer sentiment, target audience reach)
Track and regularly report on performance of channels and campaigns
Conduct regular audits of Niagara’s online presence and website
Identify opportunities to improve content on the website and partner with cross functional teams on content updates as requested
Research and recommend social media technology tools
Monitor and report on consumer sentiment and current conversations on social media within our industry and recommend a position for Niagara
Establish relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media
Assist with other responsibilities within the marketing and communications department as needed

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
2 Years – Experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role
0 Years – Experience in Position

Competencies
Proficient in business posts on social media platforms
Understand SEO and web traffic data
Understand social media KPIs and best practices
Experience with marketing data collection, researching buyer and consumer persona.
Must be able to multitask

Exceptional at communication and building relationships
Familiar with web page design and publishing best practices
Knowledge of design principles and tools

Education
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other related field

$77,796.00 - $112,805.00 / Yearly
