VMware WW Lifecycle Incentives Senior Manager - Opportunity for Working Remotely in Detroit, Michigan

The Lifecycle Incentives Sr Manager will be responsible for driving the creation, coordination, and management of the Lifecycle Incentives Program for Channel Partners in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. These incentives are designed to reward partners throughout the customer lifecycle. This individual will be responsible for working with partners, segment and regional sales & marketing owners to develop & implement the program strategy, planning, and infrastructure that supports VMware’s Cloud and SaaS vision. The Lifecycle Incentive program management includes creating and maintaining Partner facing Incentive program Terms and Conditions and other collateral including FAQ, Partner User Guide, Overview Presentation and Partner facing web content and Blogs.

The Lifecycle Incentives Sr Manager will be responsible for enablement, training and post launch support with VMware GTM, Partner and Program Experience, regional, and partner facing roles. The role will manage on-going partner escalations through an escalation process.

The Lifecycle manager will also build financial models to track budget requirement and spend, identify program metrics, get buy-in from management and report metrics against the success of the programs. The manager is required to implement program updates and enablement to ensure that program goals are met and exceeded on an on-going basis.

The Lifecycle Incentives Sr Manager is a well-rounded individual who has excellent communication, organizational, financial/analytical and interpersonal skills. The role requires a proven track record in messaging/positioning, program management, vendor management, forecasting, and broad execution capabilities. A requirement is to motivate, leverage, and manage internal teams on a project basis in order to strategize, build and launch Industry leading partner incentive programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Define new, launch and manage existing Customer Lifecycle Incentives.

  • Develop the Terms and Conditions, and other partner facing collateral and partner training to drive our channel partners to flawless execution.

  • Develop the financial model(s) that identify the impact of the programs to VMware business globally.

  • Identify the infrastructure to support the business requirements as necessary with new program goals.

  • Develop the launch plan and timeline necessary to implement globally.

  • Develop the metrics and track those metrics back to the business requirements of the program.

  • Create customer, channel partner, and internal, program documents to clearly identify the benefits, terms and conditions, rules of engagement, and marketing collateral that supports programs globally.

  • Manage the sales, business unit, and marketing team feedback on the program once launched and effectively implement a roadmap of change that maps to the VMware business requirements.

  • Drive the requirements of the systems necessary to support the program and the enhancements to the infrastructure that is built to support the channel partner programs.
