Job Description

Insight Global is looking to fill a Senior Manager position in the Department of Management & Budget Financial Reporting/Accounts Payable Unit. The position will help to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and updates of the AP functions in the Countys ERP system and subsystem. This position should understand the full lifecycle, end-to-end operations of Accounts Payable (Procure to Pay). The incumbent will analyze and advise on process improvements that improve overall operations of the accounts payable unit, focusing on those that minimize manual processes and maximize systems (Oracle) functionality. May also provide support to implement performance management efforts including identifying and tracking KPIs for the projects and general division workstreams. A critical component of this position is to understand department/ customer needs and ensuring that mechanisms and processes are aligned, while adhering to strict administrative oversight. Confidentiality, adhering to internal controls, and operating in a secure manner are imperative.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelors degree with major course work in accounting, finance, business administration or closely related field

- At least 5 years experience at the manager level overseeing Accounts Payable functions

- Minimum of 3 years experience of process improvement and project management.

- Minimum of 3 years experience in researching, collecting data, preparing complex analyses, reports and presentations and project execution on subject matter related to this position.

- At least 5 years experience leading teams or providing instructions to subordinate staff. null
