Description We are in the market for a dedicated Probation Officer to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be expected to evaluate the needs of youth and their families by conducting comprehensive case management assessments and formulating service plans. You will be working closely with the court system, ensuring that all relevant data is meticulously documented and that services are delivered flexibly both in office and in the field. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive case management assessments for youth and their families

• Develop service plans with measurable objectives in collaboration with the concerned individuals

• Keep track of all consumer contacts through detailed written reports

• Assist the court by providing written reports, recommendations, and oral testimony

• Participate actively in staff trainings, team meetings, and conferences for personal development and service improvement

• Maintain a flexible work schedule to ensure the delivery of services to clients both in the office and the field

• Comply with all relevant standards set by the Court, Clinic, CMH, Medicaid, and CARF

• Prepare statistical reports to assist management in tracking work volume and workload equity

• Review submitted paperwork for sufficiency and check databases for information regarding court filings

• Ensure timely processing of cases and keep management informed of any issues or problems

• Perform other assigned duties as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in using Aderant software

• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat

• Experience with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)

• Proficient in using Case Management Software

• Knowledge of CompuLaw software

• Ability to perform Billing Functions

• Expertise in Calendar Management

• Experience in Claim Administration

• Proven record of excellent Client Relations

• Strong Communication skills
