Henry Ford Health System Passenger Bus Driver - 20 Hours per Week - Afternoon shift - Detroit in Detroit, Michigan

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, transport HFH employees and guests to various parts of the Henry Ford Hospital System facilities and parking lots.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.

  • Must possess Commercial Drivers License with P endorsement in good standing 3 or fewer points.

  • All bus drivers are required to have in their possession a valid DOT Medical Card.

  • Successful completion of the U.S. and Michigan Department of Transportation Background Screening & Hiring Processes. Manual dexterity and eye hand foot coordination are necessary to drive a bus.

  • Must have near and far visual acuity and depth and spatial perception when driving vehicles.

  • Adapt to perform repetitive, short-cycle activities according to set procedures when performing this function.

  • Must demonstrate and always use customer friendly demeanor and etiquette.
