What you'll do In this role on AlixPartners' Corporate Services (CRS) team, you will work on the global Talent Team in a rotational role across Talent Insights & Assessment, Career & Performance Management, Learning & Talent Development, Culture, and PMD/Partner recruiting. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to satisfy the talent-focused demands of our fast-paced, high-growth firm. The Talent Team Intern role is a paid part-time role located in Southfield, MI for an approximate 4 - 6-month assignment and approximately 25-30 hours a week, with potential for more hours during peak times. Support the Talent Team on various services and initiatives with potential opportunities in our areas of career and performance management, learning and talent development, culture, assessments, and PMD/Partner recruiting. Example activities include: Support development and maintenance of resources and materials such as in career, recruiting, and development toolkits. Execute process administration such as in deploying performance management, assessments, recruiting, and learning programs. Collate data and information and prepare reports related to our job analysis work, pulse survey, or capability gaps discovery efforts. Support project management efforts, including updates, tracking, and documentation. Collaborate on project teams. Aid in monitoring and sending communications and supporting meetings with stakeholders. Assist with special projects for the Talent Team. Additional responsibilities as identified. What you'll need Pursuing, or has earned, an undergraduate degree in an applicable field of study. Flexible and adaptive with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction. Analytical, capable of developing and managing related reports and metrics. Organized workstyle: effectively manages and prioritizes workload, high attention to detail, assumes and manages multiple tasks without close supervision, and consistently meets deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while displaying the highest degree of integrity in working with confidential information. Experienced and comfortable working and communicating directly with senior executives and professional staff. Proactive self-starter and understands the urgency of the talent function. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise. Ability to work the agreed number of hours in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
