The Systems Integration Engineer I (SIE) at Foley is an important part of a team of technologists committed to transforming the end user customer experience with technology at one of the nation's largest law firms.  Our goal is to provide the best customer experience and customer service in the industry.  A passion for technology and collaboration are required as the SIE tackles the support issues that others cannot solve.  It's more than just top tier support as our focus will adopt customer experience best practices to improve our technology offerings and the way we go about deploying hardware and software.  The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for the full lifecycle of a medium-sized portfolio of moderately complex technology. 

 

Responsibilities

 

Support and maintain the Mac fleet in an enterprise environment Apply understanding of bash scripting with macOS update tool Superman Create, test, scope, and deploy policies and configuration profiles using Jamf Pro Manage software packing using Jamf Pro and create packages with composer through Jamf MDM Manage assets and volume purchase program (VPP) through Apple Business Manager Resolve escalated support cases with minimal help from senior team members Act as technical system owner for assigned systems and software packages: learn details of technical architecture, function, and capabilities; track vendor updates and ensure systems are always up to date; work with teammates to incorporate software into standard builds where appropriate; act as top-level support for systems and software Take ownership of and contribute to creation and maintenance of technology process and procedure of importance to end user customer experience Assist with integrating diverse systems, software, and hardware to achieve overall stability Troubleshoot and debug system issues to increase performance and reliability to improve customer experience Optimize maintenance and deployments to ensure integrated functionality Help to develop training and mentoring for the local office support Mobile device support and integration including iOS and android Provide a broad computer engineering background to support issue resolution Deliver knowledge, procedure, and support for other technology resources Create full documentation of any new software/hardware standards Support all platforms Windows/Citrix/Azure/Mac Utilize knowledge of Microsoft GPO and active directory Provide guidance to on-site Technology Analysts in the 25 Foley offices as well as to the help desk ("TAC") in the form of lunch and learns, knowledge base articles, and 1-on-1 and group meetings to share information, knowledge, and solutions Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred Minimum of three (3) years of related experience required; prior law firm experience preferred Experience with the following technologies strongly desired: macOS (Enterprise level experience); Jamf Pro software packing; Jamf MDM with composer for creating packages; AutoPkg(r) Experience with Apple Business Manager with knowledge of DEP (Device Enrollment Program) and ADE (Automated Device Enrollment) strongly preferred Knowledge of Bash Scripting for automation strong
