Henry Ford Health System Laboratory Driver- Public Health Science- Part time in Detroit, Michigan
Laboratory Drivers pick-up and transport laboratory specimens and supplies.
Primary duties include driving, following a pickup schedule, and documenting all stops.
Must operate motor vehicles in a safe manner and follow all traffic and local laws.
Greets and communicates with clients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
Maintains confidentiality of patient and business information.
Performs routine vehicle maintenance such as refueling and maintaining cleanliness.
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license with endorsements that may be required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum hourly rate of $15.00 !!!
High School diploma required.
Courteous disposition with good communication skills.
Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan driverss license with any required endorsements.
Must maintain a good driving record that is deemed acceptable by the HFHS motor vehicle insurance carrier.
Good oral and written communication skills.
- Evidence of familiarity with Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County expressways and surface streets and the ability to quickly learn assigned routes and customer locations.
Light lifting up to 50 pounds.
Maintain accurate, legible records and documents.
