Job Title: Forklift Operator - $17/HR + OT

Job Description

• Setting up machines on the line

• Stacking pallets of bagged salt with a forklift

• Operating the bagging machine (fills and seals bags)

• Shoveling salt outside when needed (spills)

• Loading and unloading flatbed trucks of product with a forklift

• Cleaning the work area daily

• Completing production paperwork accurately, reporting during and at the end of the shift

• Keeping accurate records of production data

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, with Saturdays most weeks, especially during the buys season

(45-minute lunch break - not a set scheduled break each day, everyone's break will be staggered and could be different each day)

Work Environment

The work environment is outside in the elements at a rock salt mine. Dress code includes jeans/shorts, a T-shirt with no offensive language or logos, and steel-toed boots/shoes. A uniform will be provided when brought on directly .Forklift
