DUTIES:

  • Manage regional client stakeholder relationships at Engineering Leader level, bringing technical expertise as a trusted Advisor and Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Identify current and future customer requirements by connecting with potential and current customer managers.
  • Establish new stakeholder relationships by using technical expertise in identifying customers' potential needs and planning and organizing sales meetings and collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
  • Meeting with client at appointments for technical Sales presentations and generating sales leads.
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers and other professional personnel.
  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and course of action and implementing directives.
  • Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
  • Actively participate in Customer Steering Committees, Handle escalations, conduct Internal Reviews to ensure profitable growth in all accounts.
  • Manage overall client relationships at Engineering Leader level, bringing thought leadership as a trusted Advisor
  • Leverage existing Customer relationships to grow the Business footprint and help build new relationships with Influencers and decision-makers at all levels;
  • Act as Brand Ambassador for Tata Technologies in the region and actively engage with local ecosystem of Partners, Advisors, Influencers to generate new opportunities and drive growth;
  • Create plans to drive Sales Pursuits and ABM initiatives for the identified region for the targeted account.
  • Plan, build, & implement Pursuit strategy to achieve sales targets for the individual Target Accounts;
  • Meet and overachieve sales / revenue & profitability targets;
  • Work Collaboratively with own Sales and Delivery teams to develop and implement the strategy to meet growth targets including assisting with putting the building blocks as necessary;
  • Identify areas to cross sell/up sell TTL offerings within the target accounts to maximize revenue growth;
  • Engage with Decision-makers, lead Technical, Commercial Negotiations for Deal and Contract closures; and
  • Actively participate in Customer Steering Committees, Handle escalations, conduct Internal Reviews to ensure profitable growth in all accounts.
  • Maintain sales forecasting reports.
  • Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers.
  • Research and identify potential customers for products or services.
  • Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
  • Develop sales plans to introduce products in new markets.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in any position/title providing Sales Engineering experience.

 

Qualified candidate must possess experience with:

  • 5 years of experience with heavy equipment sales
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering ecosystem for heavy equipment
