Essential functions (job duties):
Job duties include teaching, curriculum development, course assessment, and participation in departmental service. Some travel to satellite campuses may be required. Research activities are encouraged but not required.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will teach a wide variety of Computer Science courses including, but not limited to, introductory programming, software engineering, ethics & computing, algorithm design & analysis, computer organization/architecture, operating systems, and databases. Knowledge of common programming languages such as C, C++, Java, & Python is expected. An earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field is required. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching in a diverse environment. Previous instructional experience is preferred.
