POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to our Director of Customer Success, Client Relationship Managers will partner with leaders within each of the assigned SMB and Midmarket named accounts to identify and overcome challenges and bottlenecks in the customer’s processes and align them to the appropriate solutions. With a technical mindset and passion for problem solving, this position works alongside our managed services teams to drive outcomes and deliver results that go beyond KPI's.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct needs analysis to gain a greater understanding of the client, their business, their goals, and what success looks like for them
Conduct business reviews to ensure the client understands the status of the account and is satisfied with their products and services
Proactively identifies risk and opportunities within each account: developing, iterating, and executing on action plans to minimize churn and increase ARR
Aligns client challenges with the appropriate Secure-Serv solutions and managed services, taking ownership of the sales cycle and regularly achieving and exceeding quotas
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, engineers, management) to address customers’ needs.
Build long-term relationships with clients and key personnel within each assigned MM/SMB account. (Some Travel Required)
Manages complex relationships to ensure ROI is attained
Present, promote, and sell products/services to your client base - including basic concept ideas of how products and services help your clients' needs
Become a business partner by understanding the client’s goals/concerns and how our products and services can address our client’s needs
Ability to escalate, drive resolution, and take ownership on areas of concern as raised by clients
Participate in sales training and sales meetings as necessary
Creates enthusiastic promoters for Secur-Serv referrals
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or minimum 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
ITIL Foundation V3 and above
Minimum 3+ years in a managed services organization
Prior account management experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
Must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage numerous accounts
Strong business acumen
Active listening and strategic thinking skills
Enthusiastic, passionate, and positive
Successful sales experience in the technology industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an aptitude to learn systems
Aggressive self-starter Strategic thinker
Current Driver’s License and a willingness to travel to meet with clients
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of Hubspot is a plus
The ideal candidate is experienced in day-to-day management of a defined book of accounts, including new customer onboarding and feature adoption, contract expansions and renewal negotiations. The ideal Client Relationship Manager will be an expert at developing relationships to understand customer needs, setting mutual action plans, and delivering on project goals. They are confident and excited about holding a quota carrying role and have a proven track record of exceeding revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.
