Kelly, in partnership with a leading manufacturer, is looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor in Des Plaines, IL! Our client offers a work culture that is second to none as well as flexible hours to benefit your work/life balance.

This is a direct hire opportunity which means you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefits and vacation time immediately upon hire.

Benefits:

  • Health, dental and vision insurance

  • 401k plus a 100% match up to 3% and 50% match up the next 3%

  • Two weeks of vacation, six paid sick days and 14 paid holidays.

Details:

  • 1st shift opening with flexible start time between 7:00 am and 8:00 am

  • Pay: $95,000 - $115,000 annually

Job Description:

You will be responsible for supervising a small, union maintenance team. Supervise and oversee performance production equipment and facilities needs.

  • Manage contractors and vendors

  • Oversee facilities maintenance and repairs

  • Oversee production maintenance and repairs

  • Supervision of employees

  • Working with regulatory authorities; FDA/EPS/DHS and other agencies

Requirements:

  • Five + years of experience working with liquid chemicals

  • Five + years of experience in Industrial and Facilities Maintenance, ideally with some supervision experience.

  • Well versed in OSHA requirements and safety protocols, PPE.

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

  • Familiarity in a union environment preferred
