The Chemical Engineer II – Technology Specialist role for Gas Processing and Hydrogen Technologies at UOP is a vital position that provides technical support across a spectrum of UOP technologies, including Separex, LNG treating, Gas Processing, Russell, MolSiv, Benfield, Carbon Capture, and PSA. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the seamless transfer of our technology, delivering UOP-licensed or UOP-designed units that operate optimally, profitably, and safely for our customers. This involves regular interaction with external clients and internal UOP personnel engaged in technology delivery projects. The role also fosters collaboration with various UOP departments, offering exposure to different areas of accountability within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Provide technical support for a range of UOP technologies, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

•Facilitate the transfer of technology to deliver UOP-licensed or UOP-designed units to customers.

•Engage with external customers to address technical inquiries and provide support.

•Collaborate with internal UOP personnel involved in technology delivery projects.

•Coordinate with various UOP departments to streamline technology delivery processes.

•Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to technology transfer and customer support.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

• 3+ years of industry experience

• Can communicate well with customers (internal and external)

• Can effectively multi-task

• Knowledgeable of UOP Gas Processing or Hydrogen technologies

• Field Experience
