Aerotek Tire Retreader in DES MOINES, Iowa

Job Description

As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, handling tires from receiving to final dispatch and ensuring quality through visual inspections and repairs. Your role includes painting, stacking, and cleaning tires with the help of mechanical tools, using hand tools to envelope tires, adding repair information to work orders, and organizing the warehouse with an RF scanner. Additionally, you will load and unload tires in chambers and keep your work area pristine, as maintaining a clean facility is a priority.

Work Environment

1st Shift: 6 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday with potential overtime on Fridays. The work takes place in a brand new, exceptionally clean facility, maintaining a small team atmosphere with 12-15 colleagues in this section of the shop.
