Job Description :

This full time position will primarily work from home with occasional trainings and meetings held at Allegheny General Hospital. This role will technologically support the entire AHN network including Radiologists, tech roles, employees in radiology operations in all radiology applications and workflows.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Supports Imaging Institute with all technical decision making, provides support of data registry functions. Support technologist with training as superusers to correct IT issues within EPIC-RADIANT/PACS. Identify efficiencies in imaging workflow and work with staff to adjust workflow. Assists other staff with IT efficiency projects. Coordinates and trains departments to enter data into database registries. Assure electronic reporting is in place in order to efficiently display a data dashboard for quarterly quality management meetings. Assist with all IT projects as assigned by the Database/Operations Manager (including MYCHART Scheduling, go lives, new equipment). Assist with capital planning projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support imaging institute with timely operational and database support. (35%)

  • Running Reports from all Imaging Systems

  • Database Support

  • Report Analysis

  • Assist with all IT projects as assigned by the Database/Operations Manager (including MYCHART Scheduling, go lives, new equipment). (30%)

  • GoLive Support for all new workflows, systems, etc.

  • Development and Testing of new applications and equipment

  • Process improvement project work related to workflow, databases, and system utilization

  • Involvement in training and support of new staff or new workflows/systems

  • Technical and reporting support of outside radiology groups working for AHN

  • Act as a superuser supporting technologists, other staff and training physicians on the use of imaging systems. (10%)

  • Maintain, coordinate, and train departments to enter data into database registries. (10%)

  • Assure electronic reporting is in place in order to efficiently display a data dashboard for quarterly QM meetings. (10%)

  • Other duties as assigned. (5%)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent in IT or Radiology

  • 3 years with IT Radiology Information Systems

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare

  • Radiation Therapy certification

Pay Range Minimum:

$25.85

Pay Range Maximum:

$40.18

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
