Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Generator Service Manager to join our team. As a Generator Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the service and maintenance of generators for our customers. Your role will involve managing a team of technicians, coordinating service schedules, and ensuring timely and efficient resolution of generator-related issues.

Reports to: PC Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in generator service

· Strong technical knowledge of generators and their components

· Excellent leadership and team management skills

· Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Working Conditions:

This is a warehouse work environment which may include lifting, standing and possible extreme heat/cold conditions. You will work around electricity and other potential hazards requiring appropriate safety equipment and practices at all times.

Essential Job Functions:

· Manage a team of technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality generator services

· Develop and implement service schedules to ensure timely maintenance and repair of generators for clients

· Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance for generators in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

· Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues with generators and develop effective solutions

· Coordinate with clients to understand their generator requirements and provide suitable service options

· Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, service reports, and inventory management

· File warranty claims and negotiate claims in dispute

· Work with sales group on customer services and start-ups

· File all necessary paperwork with manufactures and customers

· Monitor and analyze the performance of generators to identify areas for improvement and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements
