Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a 4 year old Preschool Teacher for a Montessori Classroom.An Iowa teaching endorsement is required. Montessori training is preferred, however training will be provided beginning June 2024. Candidates interested in the position must be committed to engaging in training.Job Summary:Provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment that meets identified performance standards and incorporates early childhood research and best practices/curriculum.Successful candidates for this position will possess:Valid teaching license with certification in Early ChildhoodExperience with Montessori preferredPlease see attached job descripton for further information on functions of the position along with educational and experience requirements.Position Details:Contract days vary by assignment7.75 hoursSalary schedule attachedCandidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.Des Moines Public Schools offers agenerous benefits package including:
