Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Purpose: The Logistics Coordinator will optimize equipment allocations and enhance the efficiency of our operations. This role involves managing equipment allocations, ensuring timely fulfillment of warehouse stocking lists, and acting as the primary contact for logistical issues. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with internal teams and ensure that shipping schedules align with various workloads.

Essential Functions: Maximize the efficiency of the equipment lease pool by reducing warehouse consolidations, minimizing plant-to-plant shipments, and ensuring full truckload utilization. Combine and consolidate equipment from additional warehouses to achieve full truck utilization. Allocate equipment from other projects as needed based on inventory availability and manufacturing lead times. Ensure the timely fulfillment of warehouse stocking lists. Serve as the main contact for regional Sales and Distribution teams on logistical issues, providing prompt and effective support. Develop strong relationships with the Logistics team and internal customers (e.g., Sales Managers, Engineers, and Distribution teams) to work towards the shared goal of delivering the Lowest In-Place Concrete Cost to our customers. Coordinate and adjust ship dates to meet customer needs, ensuring alignment with manufacturing, distribution, and transportation workloads. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Requirements: Knowledge of EFCO formwork is preferred, though not required. Familiarity with EFCO formwork systems is advantageous. Experience in project scheduling and expediting is beneficial. Excellent communication skills, with strong verbal and written abilities to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. Strong organizational and personnel skills, with a proven capability to organize tasks and manage personnel efficiently. Detail-oriented with a keen attention to detail, strong ability to meet deadlines, and a quick problem-solving aptitude. Effective problem-solving skills to identify and address issues promptly to maintain operational flow. Proficiency with PC and relevant software to support logistics and project management tasks. Ability to work effectively with others, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.
