Principal HR Business Partner Analyst - Hybrid work arrangement in Des Moines, Iowa
Principal Financial Group is currently seeking top talent within our Human Resources community! As an HR Business Partner Analyst, you will play a key role in the planning, design, approval and implementation of HR and/or business unit processes and projects!
Some examples of things you'll do:
Using strong analytical skills, capture and analyze data from multiple sources to identify talent trends.
Partner with HR Business Partners to formulate strategic recommendations grounded in data that focus on HR metrics.
Assist with planning and managing of annual HR processes such as the Employee Opinion Survey, Performance Management, Compensation Planning, Succession Planning and Talent Dashboards.
Communicate any updates or changes regarding HR process and reports to HR BP team.
Ability to work in a global, matrix environment as this role supports HR BP team members around the world.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 4+ years of related experience required
Broad understanding of human resources, project management and data analytics
Strong written and oral communication skills along with planning and analytical skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required (ability to use v-lookups and pivot tables to manipulate and organize data)
This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
