Robert Half is partnering with larger Iowa corporation who is number one in their industry, seeking to hire an Internal Audit Manager. To be considered for this Internal Audit Manager position, applicants must have a BA in Accounting + 4 or more years experience in internal audit or coming directly from public accounting. Having previous leadership experience is strongly desired, along with a CPA or CIA. This is a key member of leadership team and will be working with all areas of organization as well as right hand of head of Internal Audit department.

Key responsibilities:

Leading internal audit activities to optimize risk profile, controls and enhance processes

Collaborating with Senior Internal Audit Manager and other department leaders including audit committee and board

Assisting ERM and consulting on initiatives including: cyber security and data integrity

Be involved in/perform special investigations

Requirements

BA in Accounting, Finance or Business

4+ years in Internal/external audit

Previous leadership experience, management of staff

Previous experience in risk based internal auditing, corporate internal audit, strategic planning, cyber security, data protection and special investigations

CPA/CIA highly desirable
