Robert Half is partnering with a highly reputed client seeking a temporary Accounts Payable professional for a 6–8 week engagement. This role offers an exciting opportunity for anyone keen on advancing their accounting career as part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Process, verify, reconcile invoices and other documents related to accounts payable

• Maintaining and updating financial records, including purchases, sales receipts and payments

• Investigate discrepancies in invoices and statements

• Address vendor inquiries and reconcile any discrepancies

• Monitor all purchase orders and ensure timely payments

• Assist with month-end closing processes

• Ensure compliance with the company's financial policies and procedures

Requirements

• Proven work experience in an Accounts Payable role.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting software systems such as Quickbooks, SAP.

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.

• Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
