Griffin Health Executive Project Liaison, Patient Safety and Care Improvement in Derby, Connecticut
MAIN FUNCTIONS: Project liaison to the Vice President of the Patient Safety and Care Improvement Division. Responsible for monitoring and coordination of certain select Safety Improvement Projects across the enterprise as directed by the VP of PSCI as well as duties that support the efforts of the VP in day to day management of executive functions for the division. This position will have a significant impact in the success and implementation of our Patient Safety projects while also acting as an Executive Assistant to the VP of our PSCI Division.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Project Management - responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Also responsible for planning and designating project resources, monitoring progress and effectiveness, and keeping the VP informed throughout the entire process.
Executive Assistant - Responsible for extending the reach and effectiveness of the VP, Patient Safety and Care Improvement by working closely and effectively with the VP to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately and maintaining schedules. Creates work plans, presentations and reports using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access. Monitors reporting of division for timeliness, transparency and communication.

EDUCATION: Associates Degree required. Bachelors preferred. 5 years of combined experience in Project Management and Executive Assistant roles.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Microsoft Office, Customer Service, Project Management and Coordination, Medical Terminology. Supervisory and hospital experience helpful.
