TDIndustries, Inc Senior Project Manager (Multifamily) in Denver (Englewood), Colorado

Provide overall management direction for a project or group of projects. Normally manages projects of a larger scope and value. Works to develop new business clients and strengthen the business relationship with existing ones. Process project documents and provides oversight on the day-to-day activities of assigned projects. Mentor project managers, assistant project managers and members of the project team. Type of work assigned is usually complex and of a specific range of dollar magnitude. Works independently following general functional guidelines and performs ancillary duties as required.

  • Ultimately responsible for the projects: the quality; on-time delivery; maintaining the budget.

  • Conducts pre-job and continuing planning meetings to ensure all project team members understand contract terms and conditions, clauses, schedules, or any unusual requirements of the project.

  • Documents planning meeting results and ensures all action items are completed. Develops and updates mechanical project schedules.

  • Ensures these schedules mesh with the master project schedule and resolves conflicts when they occur.

  • Monitor personnel manning schedules to ensure they match project schedules.

  • Establishes and executes subcontracts and equipment buy-outs to support schedules and funding.

  • Communicate all project issues up and down the management chain in a timely manner.

  • Visits job sites weekly and performs work inspections, checks job progress, and resolves project and contract issues

  • Investigate potentially serious job issues and implements corrective measures.

  • Stays on top of all scope changes to ensure they are processed and incorporated into the main contract in a timely manner.

  • Conducts and attends job meetings according to customer and company guidelines and schedules.

  • Reviews various reports to determine project status and determine actions required.

  • Prepare, brief, and maintain the health and management indicators on project status.

  • Leads and facilitates the PPA process.

  • Prepares/coordinates on submittals/shop drawings and operations and maintenance manuals.

  • 7+ years of commercial HVAC and plumbing project management experience required

  • Experience managing multifamily projects preferred.

  • Experience managing high rise projects preferred.

  • Experience in successfully leading projects and programs, on-schedule and within budget.

  • Negotiating experience in large complex construction change orders and project presentations

  • Able to interpret contractual documents, plans, specifications

  • Very polished at both technical and business letter writing

  • Top level ability to work with computerized job cost accounting system

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree preferred.

A Salary Range for this role is $94,134 - 125,512 per year.

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range or starting of candidates hired in Colorado. Factors that determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees in that role.
