Required Skills:

Workforce Planning Analyst Responsibilities:

  1. Support long-term planning efforts to understand the capacity/workforce needed to: perform content moderation (items on the platform that are in violation of our community standards), ads on the platform (for validity and sales standards) as well as reviews of the solutions Meta creates across the globe and platforms

  2. Create, analyze and deliver capacity plans for current and following year on a monthly/quarterly/annual cadence to inform the business what demand is expected, the methodology and assumptions that were used in building the plan, and the story around any variances from prior plan to not just show data, but to create the story that helps inform the business as to what we expect to happen and why

  3. Work with internal Meta teams (data engineering, data analytics, WFM, partner management, etc.) to understand the inputs we are using, the trends we are seeing in actuals vs. forecasts as well as expected upcoming events to be used in the creation of the capacity plans to better predict what is expected to happen going forward

  4. Perform bi-weekly/quarterly and ad-hoc capacity checks to understand the resources we have available, by area of the business, to support upcoming projects, as well as the expected impact if we were to approve the project if it is higher priority than other work that is being performed currently

  5. Perform variance vs. forecast analysis to understand how accurate our inputs, assumptions and capacity plans are to identify areas of opportunity, and create continuous improvement plans to deliver more accurate forecasts iteration over iteration

  6. Partner with key stakeholders (WFM, partner management, ops readiness, data analytics, etc.) to understand how they are using the information we provide, and what we can do to improve our deliveries to help them deliver value back to the business

  7. Be the end to end process owner for the items above, in collaboration with our customers and partners, to ensure the entire process is efficient, effective and at a high-quality level to build trust and improve insights to guide the right business discussions and decisions

  8. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted (remote work benefit)

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Employer will accept a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 24 months of work experience in job offered or in a logistics, capacity planning, or computer-related occupation. Experience must include 6 months of experience in each of the following:

  2. People management or coaching and influencing skills

  3. Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other process methodologies

  4. R programming and/or automation/process improvement

  5. Data analytics/business analytics and visualization to represent solutions in a visual way

  6. Problem solving with experience understanding the opportunity, the end result needed, then build and lead efforts to deliver improvements

  7. Project, program management, and process development
