The Role

AArete is seeking a dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead and support complex client projects. In this role, you will oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines. You will develop and implement comprehensive project plans, coordinate with various stakeholders, and monitor progress to deliver measurable results. With a strong background in Agile methodologies and proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Asana, you will manage resources, handle change requests, and drive efficiency. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, along with your experience working with offshore teams, will be crucial for success. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can balance client satisfaction with managing project margins and timelines.

Work You'll Do

Oversee the execution of technical projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline Develop and implement comprehensive project plans that align customer requirements with company goals, coordinating efforts across managers and technical personnel through all project phases Engage with a range of client stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, software developers, technical engineers, cybersecurity teams, data scientists, and business systems analysts Continuously monitor project progress and generate detailed reports on key metrics such as milestones and deliverables Proactively communicate with all internal and external personnel to offer support, resolve issues, and drive efficiency improvements Manage and report on timely project delivery, addressing any delays and recommending corrective actions to meet deadlines and enhance efficiency Coordinate the allocation of resources, equipment, and materials by consulting with customers, team members, and managers before and during project Anticipate project needs and changes by engaging directly with Product Owners, Technical Development teams, and Customers Demonstrate attention to detail and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and project objectives Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to ensure clear and effective interaction with all stakeholders Collaborate effectively with multiple project teams, adapting to changing priorities as they arise Thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment by maintaining flexibility and adaptability Ensure stakeholder satisfaction by managing progress and task completion effectively Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field 5-8 years of experience in managing complex IT projects Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Asana Strong experience with Agile PM methodologies Working knowledge of Waterfall and other project management methodologies Ability to understand and translate the needs of technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working with offshore teams Proven ability to instill strong methodology discipline in projects Skill in estimating resources required to complete work Strong commitment to client satis action while managing project margins, change requests, and timeline impacts; adept at balancing assertiveness with diplomacy Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship Preferred Requirements

Applicants must be based in Chicago, IL and able to work from our Chicago office Agile or PM certifications are a plus Familiarity with Salesforce or similar
