Job Summary
Under general supervision, receives and distributes all items ordered for Denver Health operations.
Essential Functions:
Physically receives and distributes all items ordered for Denver Health operations. (20%) Financially receives all items ordered for Denver Health in the ERP-Lawson. (10%) Validates Purchase Orders are accurate with regard to quantities, manufacturer item numbers, unit of measures, etc. (10%) Digitizes and indexes all supporting documentation and attaches these documents to the Purchase Order(s). (10%) Utilizes hand held scanner to record all package transactions from carrier to the end user. (10%) Prioritizes packages based on delivery expectations, delivering first overnight and next day air first and so on. (10%) Determines necessary action in situations arising during the absence of the manager. Establishes priorities and coordinates work activities (i.e. transportation with supply deliveries) to meet internal/external customer needs. (10%) Keeps supervisor advised of operational and other work-related problems and solves those that do not require administrative disposition. (10%) Works with Purchasing to assure updates and improvements occur for each financial transaction. (10%) Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required Work Experience:
1-3 years One year of warehouse or distribution experience Required Licenses:
DLR-Colorado Driver\'s License Class R - DMV - Department of Motor Vehicles Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge inventory management, purchasing processes, warehouse operations, and distribution helpful but not required. Ability to communicate effectively using the appropriate communication channel. Basic knowledge of distribution equipment, such as, pallet jacks, hand carts, and forklifts. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
