This role is part of Enterprise Program Management (EPM), where we provide technical standards, tools, processes, training, and subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. EPM allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both inside and outside the organization We are a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety. As part of a small passionate and accomplished team, you will participate in the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management systems for Blue Origin.

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Configuration & Development Engineer to oversee the management of data configuration and integration processes between Windchill, Costpoint, Redshift/Redash, and Jules. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in data management, configuration control, and system integration, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of data across multiple platforms and applications. This role will play a critical role in driving data governance, developing strategies for data integration, and implementing best practices to support the organization's data-centric initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead the design, development, and implementation of data configuration and integration strategies to ensure seamless data exchange and alignment among various systems and platforms. Oversee the Standard Part Creation Workflow, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Standard Part data across multiple databases and applications. Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to optimize data quality, security, and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data integration needs, define requirements, and drive the implementation of scalable data solutions. Manage the configuration control process, including versioning, change management, and maintenance of data models and mappings. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data configuration and integration staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
