OBJECTIVE: To perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Goodwill owned and leased hydraulic equipment across the State of Colorado. Will occasionally support Maintenance Team with larger projects as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Is a journeyman or considered journeyman level in a technical trade field or related field preferred. * 3+ year's knowledge of commercial retail or industrial equipment maintenance preferred. * Ability to train junior technicians. * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical schematics. * Recommend steps for completing projects, work orders, and emergency requests regarding Goodwill hydraulic equipment. * Ability to discern vendor services needed and schedule repairs while keeping in good communication with manager/director and customers. * Ability to utilize smart phone apps and CMMS (computerized maintenance management system). * Ability to use and operate fork lift, light - medium machinery, welders, etc. Must know basic welding. * Ability to work on their own, with a team, and act as lead on repair projects such as cylinder replacement. * Must qualify as an insurable driver for Goodwill of Colorado. * Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. * Overtime, shift or travel requirement: Occasional overtime; work varied schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays. * Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management staff, and peers. Provide excellent customer service. Must have strong work ethic, be a self-starter, problem-solver, and team player. * Ability to understand and follow all Goodwill safety standards and guidelines, and to read, comprehend, and follow Goodwill Employee Handbook, departmental manuals, and all numbered or supplemental memorandums. * Ability to understand and read electrical schematics. Per contract requirements with vehicle insurance provider: Qualified candidates must be 21 years of age and have no major traffic violations for previous 3 years (for driving/insurance purposes). Must have reliable transportation; must also be able to operate company vehicle. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS: General * Perform at least 90% of all incoming work orders related to Goodwill owned/leased compactors, balers, and tippers.
