Meta Software Engineer, Product (Kustomer) in Denver, Colorado


The Kustomer organization within Meta helps businesses grow by delivering exceptional customer service via phone, email, chat, text, social, messaging and more. Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Product (Kustomer) Responsibilities:

  1. Full stack web/mobile application development with a variety of coding languages

  2. Deliver on multiple projects of increasing complexity in an ambiguous or high-impact area over time

  3. Improve our technical quality both through directly driving improvements, creating new tools and processes and giving feedback to others

  4. Be an influencer and proactively find and solve problems without guidance

  5. Help us move faster by identifying issues slowing the team down and driving change

  6. Work effectively with cross functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes

  7. Work with your team and cross functional partners to define and influence our product roadmap

  8. May involve handling sensitive personal data

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years experience programming in one of the following languages: JavaScript, C++, Java, Python, and/or PHP

  2. 6+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on experience building holistic web based software solution, API design, and interactions between servers and clients

  3. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

  4. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

  1. Experience developing and debugging Node.js applications in a large-scale production environment

  2. Knowledgeable of advanced Chrome DevTools features, specifically around performance

  3. Knowledgeable in deploying to and monitoring applications in AWS or other cloud infrastructure

  4. Experience with continuous deployment and automated testing practices

  5. Experience with other tools we use: AWS services, TypeScript, Docker, Jest, Storybook, Cypress, and ESLint

  6. Experience with GitHub, Docker, Terraform, Mongo, Elasticsearch and/or AWS

  7. Experience building React/Redux web applications

  8. Experience with datastores like Mongo, Elasticsearch and Redis

  9. JavaScript Experience
