HDR, Inc. Site Civil EIT/Coordinator in Denver, Colorado

In the role of Site Civil EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

Assist in design and plan production for general civil on wide variety of projects, including site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and associated civil engineering activities. Assist project engineers in preparing specifications and contract documents. Perform complex assignments exercising judgement in evaluation, selection and modification or standard engineering techniques and procedures. Make decisions on design and engineering procedures as needed. Assist project managers and project engineers in project delivery for water resources management, dams, levees, civil works and water supply management projects. Prepare engineering design calculations. Develop technical reports. Perform other duties as needed. Opportunities will be available to travel to visit project sites during both design and construction.

Preferred Qualifications

Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression Preference given to local candidates. Master's degree in Civil Engineering or other related field. Minimum of 2 years of industry experience.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
