Aerotek Service Technician in Denver, Colorado

HIRING SERVICE TECHNICIANS IN DENVER, CO

Pay: $28.00 - 33.00hr (based on experience/opportunity for advancement)

Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in door installation and repair or a similar role.

  • Must have experience installing and/or servicing industrial/commercial doors

  • Willing to train candidates who have manual door experience**

  • Must be willing to travel to customer locations between Castle Rock and Longmont

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems related to door operations.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Job Description:

  • Install, service, and repair a wide range of commercial entry doors and operating systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in door systems.

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure door systems are functioning properly.

  • Maintain detailed records of service and repair activities.

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with other technicians and service managers to schedule and prioritize work orders.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Work Environment:

  • Work week is 7am-5pm but may vary outside of that due to customer request.

  • Usually off work by 4pm. Start times stagger from 7am to 8:30am. Must be somewhat flexible depending on demand and customer request.

  • On call 24/7 for a week ever few months once done with training. Rarely exceeds 10-12 hours in the week.

  • Emergency calls are double time with 2 hour minimum pay. If you land on a holiday it is double time with 3 hour minimum.

  • Field service consists of 18 leads, 9 trainees. Install has 6 field installers and 3 trainees.

  • Once established as a lead, you can get trainer pay for $1hr when with a trainee.
