We provide vertical software companies with an all-in-one platform and white-glove implementation approach to capitalize on the opportunities for growth, innovation, and transformation within embedded payments.

What you'll own

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API applications using the Phalcon PHP framework and .Net Core Framework. You will work closely with the development team to create efficient and scalable API solutions that meet the project's requirements and quality standards.

Develop API applications using the Phalcon PHP and .Net Core framework, ensuring high performance and security.

Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

Design and implement database schemas, interact with databases using Phalcon's ORM and Entity Framework ORM, and optimize database queries for performance.

Conduct unit testing, identify and resolve bugs, and perform debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of the application.

Continuously monitor and optimize the application for speed, scalability, and efficiency.

Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories and collaborate effectively with team members.

Create technical documentation, including code comments, project documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including 3rd party integration developers, front-end developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality API applications.

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a Phalcon Developer or PHP developer with a strong willingness to learn Phalcon.

Proven experience as a .Net Core C# or .Net C# developer with a strong willingness to learn .Net Core Framework.

Proficiency in PHP, C#, PostgreSQL or other relational databases, and basic knowledge of web development technologies (JavaScript and Angular).

Familiarity with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture and Phalcon's MVC framework.

Familiarity with Microservices architecture and .Net Core Framework.

Experience with RESTful API development and consumption.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Added bonus if you have:

Experience with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is a plus.

Experience with other C# frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET Core Web API) is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
