About the Role:

As a product manager on the Platform team, you will be responsible for building and evolving our cloud management experience for the most cloud-native and complete data streaming offering in the industry. With 4 products closely intertwined and all real-time, Confluent Cloud customers need a more seamless management experience across products. How to simplify Disaster Recovery across the full data streaming platform? How to organize their resources across their maturity journey? How to define & enforce resource policies?

You will own and drive the vision, strategy and execution for cloud management features. You're focused on solving highest impact customer problems. You're familiar with typical enterprise requirements to move to the cloud & manage their resources. You're at ease leading cross-functional teams to get alignment and move forward.

What You Will Do:

• Own cloud management roadmap & strategy

• Collect cloud management customers' requirements

• Develop product specifications for cloud management features

• Align design, product and engineering teams

• Collaborate with marketing & the field to launch cloud management features

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years of cloud experience in a IaaS, PaaS or SaaS stack

• Experience building and supporting enterprise-grade products as product manager

• Experience building, writing and defending a clear product roadmap and backlog backed by user stories and customer research

• Excellent communication skills and experience working in a collaborative and consensus-driven environment

• Ability to build relationships with co-workers and customers located around the world

• Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes through product changesHands-on experience with at least one of the major Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Multi-cloud or hybrid experience a plus

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of 166,200 - 195,300 USD, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
