What will you do?

A day in the life of a Senior Manager, Health & Safety, Programs & Analytics at VF looks a little like this.

This position will develop, implement, lead, maintain, and govern company EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety), Security, and Loss Prevention programs and training to drive consistent risk mitigation approaches globally, while meeting all applicable regulations and standards, and lead the implementation and management of VF’s reporting and KPI system; utilizing inputs to create valuable KPI’s and insights that guide the program. Reporting to the Vice President, Asset Protection, this role will drive compliance requirements impacting employees and improving knowledge retention. You will partner closely with, influence, and advise leaders, business partners, and stakeholders across our regions, brands, and functions to deliver holistic and innovative programs that proactively address a diverse set of global risks and create an actionable strategy.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

  • Collect, measure, and analyze company data and KPI’s, to identify trends, establish focus areas, and track program effectiveness, managing improvement projects for trending risks.

  • Global KPI Data ownership, including monthly and quarterly reporting, and developing presentations for company business reviews and board meetings.

  • Develop, implement, track, and assess health and safety, Loss Prevention, and Security training materials and systems to deliver modern training options for VF operations.

  • Perform audits and reviews to identify systemic training gaps, develop corrective measures and implement solutions to sustain compliance.

  • VF Safety reporting and tracking system owner; overseeing implementation, usage, and system expansion strategies.

  • Develop and implement company-wide health and safety, Loss Prevention, and Security programs that protect the company’s people and property.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and execution of comprehensive safety processes, training programs, and management practices to eliminate all accidents in the workplace and meet applicable industry safety standards and company policies.

  • Assist in the development of Security and Loss Prevention programs aimed at protecting the company’s people and assets.

  • Function as Subject Matter Expert for technical and procedural H/S requirements.

  • Monitor, interpret, and analyze existing or emerging Health and Safety laws and regulations, to ensure VF programs, training and policy are exceeding global minimum compliance requirements.

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 8+ years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are: ​

  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of H/S principles, methodologies, best practices, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Knowledge of Loss Prevention/Security principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels, and to clearly communicate technical subject matter to a broad audience.

  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence those with whom no formal hierarchal relationship exists. Highly developed interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with employees effectively, persuasively, and tactfully at all levels of the organization.

  • Exhibits a client service mindset, effective at presenting information and responding to needs of internal stakeholders. Exceptional customer service skills, servant leadership approach, and mindset of making day-to-day easier for VF operators.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify operational issues, differentiate between conflicting priorities to identify underlying causes, operate successfully with high degree of ambiguity to solve for and drive forward solutions.

  • Proven ability to navigate complex issues and their implications, design solutions that consider multiple perspectives and their future implications.

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; ability to take large volumes of complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner for senior management decision-making.

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

  • ASP or CSP preferred.

  • Up to 30% travel expected to support business needs.

Hiring Range :

$108,864.00 USD - $136,080.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
