Senior HR Technology Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior HR Technology Analyst will collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective HRIS solutions. They will manage the implementation of upgrades, enhancements, and integrations within the HRIS system, coordinating with IT and vendor partners as needed. They will also be responsible for ad hoc reporting from HRIS, and other HR systems as required. This position will play an integral role in the SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAP

  • Serve as the subject Matter Expert in SAP HCM system set up and understanding of basic functional and technical set up.

  • Support in the SAP HCM problem identification, troubleshooting and resolution and liaise with the HR IT Support Team and the larger HR Technology Team to deliver solutions to the business.

  • Serve as EMEA and NA point of contact for SAP HCM business processing questions; build working relationships with business leaders, HR team members, employees, and key stakeholders.

  • Complete data audits on a continuous basis to ensure data integrity. Identify and oversee audits necessary to ensure data is immediately corrected in SAP HCM.

  • Serve as the escalation point of contact for NA and EMEA supporting the larger HR Technology Team for SAM HCM data issues, concerns, system, or process changes. Lead, coordinate, and support project activities such as mass loads for hires, terminations, and salary changes (e.g. Annual Compensation Program), and mergers & acquisitions as needed.

  • Align with the larger HR Technology Team to support SAP HCM data processing, maintenance, and entry process improvements for system transactions (New Hires, Terminations, Employee Changes, and any other event reason transactions).

SuccessFactors

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the following SuccessFactors modules: Performance & Goals, Learning Management System, Compensation, Succession, Onboarding, Recruiting, and Reporting.

  • Lead and project manage the SuccessFactors module enhancements, projects, and recurring programs impacting technology as requested by the business.

  • Liaise between the business and the HR IT Support team to ensure that SuccessFactors projects and tasks are delivered on time.

  • Support the resolution of HR systems inquiries. Work with the business and HR IT Support Team to address business service requests impacting SuccessFactors.

  • Serve as the point of contact for all SuccessFactors business processing questions, build working relationships with business leaders, HR team members, employees, and key stakeholders.

  • Initiate improvements in the SuccessFactors modules: Focus on cleaning up system processes and finding efficiencies from a people, process, and technology perspective in all the SuccessFactors modules.

  • Train the HRIS Analysts Team members on the SuccessFactors modules.

  • Support the implementation of the Global SuccessFactors Employee Central project replacing SAP HCM (12-month implementation) by:

  • Leading the Talent Module Retrofit workstream for the Employee Central Project.

  • Leading the Onboarding 2.0 implementation workstream for the Employee Central Project.

  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert in the creation of SFSF EC Reporting Module; and

  • Providing support for the SuccessFactors Employee Central Project as needed.

HR Reporting and Analytics

  • Deliver HR reports and supporting PPT Slide deck presentations as required by the business (ad hoc and recurring).

  • Lead Phase 2 of the Power BI Project to include SuccessFactors Modules data – Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning Management System, Compensation, Performance & Goals, etc.

  • Collaborate with the HR Data Entry team to develop and implement reporting and analytics improvements to provide the business with company-wide metrics based on organizational needs.

  • Work with IT (IT Analytics Team) to implement reporting and analytics changes for the business to provide end users with accurate and easily accessible HR data.

  • Work with the business to understand and define reporting needs and define and agree on reporting metrics and definitions to ensure alignment across the organization. Align with the larger HR Technology & Analytics team.

Overall Requirements/Expectations

  • Initiate improvements: Focus on cleaning up system processes and finding efficiencies from a people, process, and technology perspective.

  • Documentation: Map out and document all system processes; Update and create system administrator handbooks as needed.

  • Provide High Quality and Timely Support to the Business:

  • Answer SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, HR Data Entry, and Reporting questions and support the business as required.

  • Communicate to the business on service requests resolutions, workarounds, or delays to ensure timely updates as needed.

  • Communicate to the larger HR Technology Team on team updates, projects, enhancements, and new processes

  • Work collaboratively with the larger Global HR Technology & Analytics Team:

  • Work with the team to successfully deliver HR Technology, Data, and/or Reporting Projects and deliverables.

  • Engage as a collaborative team member with the HR IT Support Team to ensure Service Request resolutions and support is provided to the business.

  • Audits:

  • Review role-based access on a quarterly basis to ensure security of employee data.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure changes in any employee and/or HR data has been correctly entered into the SAP HCM system and in the future SuccessFactors Employee Central.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Location: Denver, CO

  • Environment: Standard office environment, onsite at least 3 days per week

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HCM

  • Proficiency in SuccessFactors modules: Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning Management System, Compensation, Succession, and Reporting

  • Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and have a system thinking approach to problem solving and understanding how things affect one another in an overall system from a people, process, and technology perspective

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience collaborating on project teams, managing relationships with clients, and presenting to audiences

  • Ability to work independently to formulate recommendations based on market data and best practices

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, be detail oriented and can multitask

  • Strong research abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 7 years relevant hands-on SAP and SuccessFactors experience; working Knowledge of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors modules

  • Experience in implementing large scale HR Technology Projects (ideal candidate will also have experience in implementing SuccessFactors Employee Central and other SuccessFactors modules)

  • Experience working in a global and multi-cultural organization

  • Experience working in a collaborative global team environment spanning across multiple Divisions

  • Experience with HR analytics, data visualization, and reporting tools

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field required.

COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $90,000 to $125,000 per year.
