Responsibilities

Baker Tilly US has a business valuation practice that is growing in size and profile. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through a broad array of engagements, mentoring and formal learning. You will have the support necessary to further develop technical and leadership skills and be a key contributor to shaping the practice's future.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key contributor to engagement teams in executing complex projects that serve our clients' critical valuation and financial consulting needs across the following contexts:

Transaction Support - You will work on projects assisting clients in key strategic decisions relating to mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other transactions.

Financial Reporting - You will work on projects assisting clients to in the development of analyses required for the preparation of their financial statements, across a wide array of contexts (purchase price allocations, intangible asset impairment analyses, issuance of stock based compensation, etc

Tax Reporting - You will undertake valuations for tax reporting purposes for gift and estate tax, deferred compensation issuance, transfer of assets, etc.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - You will prepare financial projection models to help clients with key decisions relating to their operations, investment decisions, securities issuance, etc.

Responsibilities: Perform in-depth client, industry, competitor and market research Develop, populate, and review complex valuation and financial projection models Perform complex enterprise valuation analyses of companies across a broad spectrum of size, industry, and business lifecycle phase Perform value allocation analy es for companies with complex capital structures Perform complex intangible asset and contingent liability analyses applying Option Pricing Method, Monte Carlo Simulation, and other advanced methodologies Contribute to engagement teams delivering on valuations, and assist in all phases of planning and administration for those services Communicate with business owners, financial management, investors, lenders, and other parties to ensure delivery of exceptional client service. Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues in the firm, other service lines, and engagement/project teams Pursue new business development opportunities with existing and new clients Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or other related field (MBA or MSc Finance preferred) Minimum of one to three (1 -3) years in business valuation services CFA or ASA preferred Strong communication, project management, and team building skills Excellent presentation skills Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving skills against clear business recommendations Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines Strong technical writing skills (clear, concise, and excellent grammar) Additional Information
