Compensation: $24.00 at time of hire with increase to $25.00 after 90 days of service.
General Summary:
By specific shift assignment, oversees and directs the work of Security Floor Agents assigned to respective shifts.
Shift:
Overnight Shift
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as senior agent on assigned shifts. Effectively operate the shift in support of a high guest experience level of care for employees, clients, and patrons
Assist to implement and effectively carry out emergency, safety, and security programs and procedures when necessary
Implement foot and vehicle patrols of property; Inspect and report on facilities compliance with safety and security procedures
Assist the investigation, reporting and follow-ups on incidents including damage/injury to the facility or employees. Assure proper and immediate routing of incident reports and have those to Assistant Manager or Manager for review and final report.
Assist with overview and reporting of client-contracted event security
Assist with assignments and permitting for temporary parking
Assist with taking photos at base when needed.
Other duties as assigned
As an Officer on an assigned shift:
Provide a guest services level of care for employees, clients, and patrons

Assure POD compliance on patrols

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Two to four years security experience in a large facility
One year of supervisory experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Absence of felony or violent crime convictions
Demonstrate excellent communications (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clientele, required
Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization; skill to work effectively as part of a team, required
Perform leadership role and job tasks effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities, required
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills, required
Provide customer service in a professional considerate manner, required
Excellent record of dependability and reliability, required
Customer Service Experience, preferred
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
City and County of Denver Security Guard License required
Valid and current Class C Colorado Driver License preferred
