Cuningham Group Architecture, Inc. Project Landscape Architect in Denver, Colorado

Cuningham seeks a Project Landscape Architect (or non-licensed Project Landscape Designer) to share in our purpose and choose to design for social and ecological well-being. We are seeking a landscape design professional to be responsible for performing a variety of assignments in all aspects of landscape design from project conception to construction completion, as well as supporting the development and documentation of the technical solutions required by both the design and the local governing code. What you will do Lead the development of design solutions, coordination, and production efforts on a wide range of projects through all phases of the design, in an iterative and collaborative design process through sketching, 2D and 3D modeling, as well as computational methods in alignment with project success me Lead and oversee strong landscape design concept and landscape design presentations throughout the project. Oversee research of location, site, and context. Lead site planning process and program exploration. Oversee research of materials, and products relating to landscape and site. Lead code compliance and research. Coordinate site related specifications with civil consultants and specs team. Oversee landscape coordination with all other disciplines and manage conceptual and technical alignment. Be accountable for complete and quality set of landscape documents meeting contract requirements. Lead collaboration and manage expectations with client team providing clear feedback bi-directionally between the broader internal team and client groups. Encourage and apply sustainable and regenerative approaches to design and performance of the built, social, and natural environments. Motivate the project team to provide their best by supporting team member development and growth through thoughtful task assignment. Lead and participate in development and documentation of projects through both creative design and technical detailing. Collaborate with related disciplines (consultants and contractors) for integrated design outcomes. Coordinate BIM models and documentation internally and with consultants, contractors, etc. Participate in construction administration activities with Project Architect and on-site staff.What we look for Masters or Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture required. A minor focus on Urban Design/Planning welcome. 8-15 years of landscape architectural and master planning experience, required. Licensure in at least one state, preferred. Engaging personality with good listening and collaboration skills desired. Candidates must be resourceful, dedicated, thoughtful and creative problem solvers. Possess excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills. Candidate must be a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills, dedicated work discipline and excellent self-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, GIS. Proficiency in hand or digital sketching/drawing skills. Advanced Revit skills strongly desired, basic skills required. 3D Rendering skills in Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, or 3DS Max are desirable. LEED or Sites credentials a plus. Ability, speed, and precision to work autonomously on production of construction documents required. Highly motivated ability to work independently or collaboratively on multiple deadlines. Compensation provided is based on our national range which varies by work location and may also depend on accreditation, experience and responsibilities.
