A day in the life
As the Procurement Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Procurement Operations team with project and performance management. The Procurement Associate will report to the Procurement Operations Manager and will interface with key stakeholders in Operations, Accounting, Finance, and New Development. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, organized, and an excellent communicator.
Key responsibilities include:
Support business planning, monthly savings reporting, spend reporting, and forecasting for strategic categories managed by Global Procurement. Perform data-driven, Excel-based bid analysis in support of active RFPs across 30 markets in the Americas and multiple vendor partners Provide training and support on procurement technology, procurement processes, spend and savings data, and savings methodology and tracking for supported categories. Audit savings records for accuracy and adherence to approved methodology. Provide data analysis and reporting/dashboard solutions to the Procurement team. Gather and document business requirements for Procurement tool selection and enhancements, in support of strategic categories managed by Global Procurement Develop and manage standard templates that support execution of sourcing efforts for Global Procurement. Develop surveys to collect data from suppliers and stakeholders as needed. Proactively identify reporting and recurring requests that can be improved, standardized, or automated. Support the creation of Procurement processes and procedures. Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, partners, and other external parties. Required
3+ years experience in data analysis or related experience Experience with Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools desired. Demonstrated expertise, familiarity, and ease with piecing together information to analyze, draw conclusions and present a coherent viewpoint. Ability to deliver thought-out results with limited information and guidance. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines in an efficient, detailed, and accurate manner. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to independently manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Comfort with competing priorities, and ambiguity in outcomes and organizational lines. Dedication to the team's success and work schedule flexibility to meet the needs of an evolving business. Demonstration of critical thinking before making a recommendation.
Hiring Salary Range of: $83,000 - $125,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
