Salary Range: $120,000 - $125,000 DOE Summary: The Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator manages all elements of the OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) Programs and US EPA Risk Management Plans (RMP) at our Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) facilities. The position also supports the EHS Department on additional initiatives as assigned. Position Responsibilities: * Provide overall coordination of day-to-day activities related to the implementation of PSM for the facilities. * Continuously maintain all PSM data and required records to ensure accurate and current information. * Manage and maintain all records for all applicable PSM Program elements, including PM, MOC, incident investigation, employee participation, training, and other records generated from any PSM program element. * Maintain audit ready PSM programs, data, and records at all times through periodic internal self-audits. * Review operating procedures for PSM covered processes to ensure they are accurate and current. * Schedule and participate in all PSM meetings. These meetings include reviewing all open action items, training, MOCs, review of incident reports, and other pertinent information and training. * Coordinate the Management of Change / Pre Start-up Safety Reviews (MOC/PSSR). * Participate in a five-year Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). * Maintain open recommendations from audits, reviews, analyses, and inspections in the appropriate tracking systems. * Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses when required. * Assist as needed in developing inspection, test, and preventative maintenance plans and equipment reliability for the facility. * Maintain and complete all training documentation in a timely manner. * Continually evaluate and communicate the PSM training plan with employees and plant leadership. * Assist plant managers in ensuring that EHS is implemented and layered audits are conducted. * Supports the launch of all activities needed to implement and maintain PSM compliance. * Maintain current knowledge of CE/PSM related rules and regulations. * Travel to operating sites 20-50% of the time. * Other duties as assigned. Process Safety Engineer job duties include: * Conduct process hazard analyses. * Identify process safety hazards and risks. * Develop and implement process safety management programs. * Evaluate compliance with process safety regulations. * Investigate process safety incidents. * Monitor changes in processes and procedures. * Train employees in process safety procedures. * Perform risk assessments. * Coordinate with other departments to ensure process safety. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in industrial safety, safety sciences, safety engineering, environmental science/engineering, or other engineering degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution with three or more years of PSM program coordination. Proven skills in the implementa ion of PSM programs and procedures. Comprehensive knowledge of the OSHA PSM regulation Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. The ability to communicate effectively with multiple project stakeholders. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, plane and solid geometry fundamentals, and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variab Computer Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
