Your opportunity

  • Produce Power BI reports and dashboards from requirements from the business.

  • Be a PowerBI SME (subject matter expert) for the business.

  • Assist and train team members and business partners in using and getting the most out of Power BI.

  • Manage Power BI platform governance. Implement robust policies, standards, and practices to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant usage and development within the platform.

  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

    Must have skills

  • Agile/Scrum project experience nice to have

  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, from managers to technical resources, to include the translation of business requirements into operational measures and reports

  • Be an advocate for Power BI and be aware of the latest developments and how they can assist the business.

  • Someone who is hands on and can deliver.

  • Natural positive communicator both within the internal team and stakeholders across the business.

  • Team player who can represent the team across the business.

    Nice to have skills

  • Proven track record in Power BI development, with a strong emphasis on advanced data modelling techniques and principles. Design, develop, and maintain robust data models in Power BI that support complex data analysis and reporting needs. Your expertise in dimensional modelling, star schemas, and optimization techniques will be crucial.

  • Proven ability to create, publish, and manage semantic models, dataflows, report and dashboard in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework. Azure DevOps and source control.

  • Deep understanding of security as it pertains to data access, scope, and distribution of reports and Dashboards Experience in mentoring/training/coaching others in technical concepts.

  • Prior experience of implementing Power BI in other financial institutions (desirable)

  • Proven experience with connections to external data sources such as Snowflake, SQL, Databricks and BW

  • Experience of Analysis Services / Azure Analysis Services & Power BI

  • Experience with source control and DevOps

  • Useful but not mandatory skills include PowerShell scripting, Python, experience with Databricks, Azure and Copilot

    Compensation information – US ONLY

    The base salary range for this position is $115,000- $120,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

    Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
